The Women’s Auxiliary Council of the Jewish Braille Institute of America was organized Thursday in the offices of Samuel R. Wachtell, chairman of the executive committee of the institute. The auxiliary council will solicit support for the Jewish Braille Review, only Anglo-Jewish magazine in Braille, distributed without charge to English reading Jewish blind persons throughout the world.
Officers elected Thursday were: Mrs. Edgar Lowell, chairman; Mrs. Rae Dubner, vice-chairman; and Mrs. William Mittleman, secretary.
