Albert S. Lavenson, prominent Jewish business man of this city, was honored by the Oakland Civic Organization at a community testimonial dinner this evening. Mr. work and civic undertakings in Oaklavenson has been active in Jewish land for many years, and though the dinner is an annual function to honor outstanding community workers, this event was distinguished from all others by the fact that it was the largest gathering of its kind ever to be held in Oakland.
