City Clerk Morris Eller, Thompson-Crowe Republican candidate for Sanitary District Trustee, was nominated at the primary elections on Tuesday. Sanitary District Trustee Michael Rosenberg. Democrat, was nominated to succeed himself. City Clerk Eller was also elected a delegate to the Republican national convention in Kansas City.
Congressman Adolph J. Sabath was elected a delegate to the Democratic national convention in Houston, Texas. Sanitary District Trustee Rosenberg was also elected a delegate to the Democratic convention, as were Judge Harry M. Fisher, all of whom are supporters of Al Smith for president.
Samuel L. Golan, Thompson-Crowe Republican, was nominated for Congress from the Sixth Illinois District, defeating Samuel Cossman. Republican ward committeemen elected include Morris Eller, Judge Michael Feinberg, and William H. Feigenbutz.
Democratic ward committeemen elected include Congressman A. J. Sabath, Michael Rosenberg, Alderman Joseph Mendel and I. A. Doff. Assistant State Attorney Louis N. Blumenthal named Republican candidate for municipal judge.
N. Y. FEDERATION MOVES INTO ITS NEW BUILDING
The Federation for the Support of Jewish Philanthropic Societies today moves into the new sixteen-story office building at 67 to 1 West Forty-seventh street erected to house the administrative work of the Federation and the offices of several of its constituent agencies.
Frederick Brown donated the site for the new building. The value of the site was estimated at $500,000. Construction was begun last October.
