The Jewish Child Care Association announced today that scholarship grant-in-aids totalling $23,736 were given to 22 boys and 12 girls during the past 12 months to make possible college studies for the 34 wards of the association.
Louis Strauss, trustee and chairman of the Scholarship committee, also announced six new grants-in-aid which brings the total number of young people helped by such grants to 1,053 in the 67 years of the Scholarship Fund, established in 1891 by a gift from Jacob H. Schiff.
