Jewish communal leaders were given the royal treatment on a trip to Taiwan. Leaders of Hadassah, the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, National Committee for Labor Israel, Zionist Organization of America and the Jewish Council for Public Affairs were treated to a five-day, all-expense-paid tour of Taiwan last month to bolster relations and promote the island among a group seen as influential, the Forward reported.
