A new Jewish school, offering a program from kindergarten through the first five grades, was opened here today in one of the districts of this city heavily inhabited by Jews. The school, it was announced, will emphasize the teaching of Hebrew.
In addition to this school, there are in Istanbul now four other Jewish elementary schools, and a Jewish high school, all supported by the Jewish community.
