The world’s first record album designed specifically to teach the Yiddish language has been prepared by the American Jewish Congress and presented today to the public.
Entitled “Invitation to Yiddish,” the album consists of two long-playing records accompanied by a 108-page Yiddish manual. It was presented by Dr. Sol Liptzin, chairman of the Commission on Jewish Affairs of the American Jewish Congress, under whose auspices the project was conceived and executed.
