Delegates from various countries attending the three-day European session of the World Jewish Congress today presented optimistic reports on the situation of the Jews in their respective lands.

Taking issue with these reports, Dr. S. Levenberg, representative of the Jewish Agency, pointed out that the situation of the Jews in Europe is not as secure as some of the delegates said. He asserted that Fascist and anti-Jewish forces are alive everywhere. “Reactionary elements who went underground at the end of the war are beginning to raise their heads; we must therefore be alive to the dangers.” he stated.
