Dr. S. Margoshes, editor of “The Day” and vice-president of the American Jewish Congress, will report on the most recent developments in the German Jewish persecutions at a mass meeting to be held Nov. 29 at Cooper Union.
Dr. Margoshes is returning to the United States after a visit to Germany, where he discussed the problem with Jewish leaders there. He was commissioned by the American Jewish Congress, and attended as delegate to the London Relief Conference in October.
Other speakers at the mass meeting will include Bernard S. Deutsch, president of the American Jewish Congress, who will preside; Dr. Stephen S. Wise, honorary president, and Jacob Fishman, editor of the Jewish Morning Journal.
