The Cooperative Bank for Productivization of Jews in Poland increased its activities in l948 as compared with the previous year, it was reported here at a meeting of the institutions board of directors. During the first nine months of 1948, the Bank issued loans totaling 222,000,000 zlotys while a total of 211,000,000 zloty3 in credits was issued in 1947.
Of the Bank’s total circulating capital–326,000,000 zlotys–the Joint Distribution Committee made 213,000,000 zlotys available to the Bank while the Polish Government extended 62,000,000 zlotys in credit.
