The representatives of the Jewish population in the Republic of Lithuania, as well as the representatives of other national minorities, voted for the resolution, expressing lack of confidence in the Valdemaras cabinet yesterday. The vote was taken following a discussion which was caused by the arrest of one of the members of parliament in violation of his immunity.
The resolution passed by the parliament stated that the Valdemaras cabinet is violating the provisions of the constitution.
Following the adoption of this resolution, the president issued an order dissolving the Sejm. No date for the new elections was set. Great excitement prevails in political circles in the capital.
