A world Jewish medical congress will be convoked in Tel Aviv, Palestine, in the Spring of 1936,
it was decided yesterday at the concluding session of the conference of Jewish doctors held here.
The purpose of the world congress will be:
1) To consider the general situation of Jewish doctors in various countries.
2) To consider the health problems of Jews in countries with large Jewish populations.
3) To work out measures to combat the tropical infectious diseases in Palestine.
4) To consider the establishment of a medical faculty at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
A special committee of prominent Jewish doctors has been appointed to make the necessary arrangements and to contact Jewish medical organizations throughout the world.
