The Jewish Economic Council today issued a strong protest against the Government’s proposals to the League of Nations for solution of the Jewish problem by mass emigration of Jews from Poland and other central and eastern European countries.

“Polish Jews belong on Polish soil,” the council declared.

The second (economic) commission of the League recently supported Poland’s request that an intergovernmental conference to discuss the proposals be convoked in November under the auspices of the International Labor Office.
