A reorganization of Jewish cultural and educational organizations in France has resulted in the closing down of Sacre Educatif, a pioneering program of audio-visual educational aids in Jewish education.
Meanwhile, the Fonds Social Juife, leading French Jewish fund-raising organization, is searching for ways to maintain the services offered for the past seven years by Sacre Educatif. There is still a great need for its materials and methods in the smaller, isolated Jewish communities of this and other French-speaking countries.
