The Jewish Electric Corporation, engaged in electrification of Jerusalem, is not employing Jews in the work. A protest against the Corporation was lodged by the Vaad Ha’ir, the Jewish committee of the city, because Jews are not employed.
A reply declared that the matter is in the hands of a contractor who declared that the workers have already been engaged for the period of preparatory work.
