Jewish groups are praising the United States for boycotting last week’s meeting of a human rights forum at which Israel’s treatment of the Palestinians was criticized. The United States took a “principled stand” in refusing to participate in the meeting of the Fourth Geneva Convention, according to the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations.
