Following several years of controversy, the Jewish Home for the Aged here voted to accept a bequest of over $115,000 which was willed to the institution on the condition that the Home agree to accept non-Jewish aged on the same conditions as Jewish applicants.
Orthodox Rabbi C. Ginsberg urged acceptance of the gift in the name of the three rabbis of the city. It was reported that eight Jewish homes for the aged in the United States accept non-Jewish applicants.
