Jewish Informer Executed in Poland for Torturing Jews to Death in Nazi Camps

Isidor Silbiger, reputedly the most feared Jewish informer in a number of Nazi concentration camps during the war, was hanged this weekend in Bytom for his war crimes, it was reported here today. The court trial established that he personally beat several Jews to death in the Boleslaviec concentration camp, most of whose inmates were Dutch Jews.

Josef Kolodziei, a member of the Ukrainian Nationalist organization, which was notorious for its anti-Semitic atoricites during the war, was sentenced to death by the court in Nova Sel for initiating the mass murder of 2,000 Jews in the town of Jasloviec.
