The fifth annual commencement exercises of the Jewish Institute of Religion will take place on Sunday, May 25, at the Institute building. The Baccalaureate Sermon will be preached in the morning by the president, Dr. Stephen S. Wise.
At the evening exercises, the president of the Board of Trustees, the Hon Julian W. Mack, will preside, and the commencement address will be given by the Hon. Sol M. Stroock, president of the Board of Trustees of the Jewish Theological Seminary, his subject to be: “The Rabbi and the Perplexed—The Need For a Guide.”
