Joseph fink, Jewish journalist who was arrested in 1937 by the German Government and in May, 1939, was sentenced to eight years’ imprisonment for “incitement against Germany in the foreign press,” has been released, it was learned today. Fink, who is a Lithuanian citizen and has acted as correspondent for the Jewish Morning Journal of New York and other Jewish newspapers, has been exchanged for a German prisoner in Lithuania, after intervention by the Lithuanian authorities.
