The retirement of Jacob Pat, who has served as executive secretary of the Jewish Labor Committee for the past 23 years, was announced here today by JLC national chairman Adolph Held.
In accepting Mr. Pat’s resignation, the JLC Administrative Committee expressed “deep regret and sincere appreciation of the outstanding leadership provided by Jacob Pat during his long years of service. ” Mr. Pat indicated that his resignation was motivated by health reasons. He intends to devote his time to writing.
