An urgent appeal addressed to the governments of Poland and Soviet Russia, calling on them to give Germany all documents naming Nazi criminals who have not yet been brought to justice, was sent today by the Jewish Labor Committee.
In a letter to the Polish and Soviet Ministers of Justice, signed by Adolph Held, chairman, and Benjamin Tabachinsky, executive secretary, the JLC stated that the four-and-a-half year extension of the statute of limitations on Nazi crimes in Germany made it necessary that the German police authorities act “with all deliberate speed” if the criminals are to be brought to justice.
