The Jewish Labor Committee, in a letter to Secretary of State Dean Acheson, emphasized its complete sympathy with the demands of the Israel Government in requesting American support for $1,500,000,000 in reparation from Germany, it was revealed today by Adolph Held, president of the organization.

In his letter to Dean Acheson, Mr. Held emphasized that the $1,500,000,000 in reparations claimed by the Government of Israel to cover the cost of rehabilitation of 500,000 Jews, does not by far compensate for the damage suffered by the Jewish victims of Nazism who survived, and by the thousands of homeless Jews who are still dispersed in many lands.
