A Jewish Labor Committee conference on Rumania Monday night at the Manhattan Opera House, attended by 1849 delegates from 226 organizations, decided to sen a delegation to the State Department with a memorandum asking intervention to force Rumania to abide by the Minorities Treaty. Speakers included City Council President Newbold Morris and Majority Leader V.C. Vladeck, and several Jewish labor leaders. Mayor Laguardia sent a message of support.
