An All-Ukranian Conference of workers in the Jewish colonies and trans-settlement centres has been convoked by the Central Committee of the Communist Party for September 25th.
The Conference will be attended by the political workers in the districts of Cherson, Krivoyrog, Zaporosze, Mariupol, Nikolaev, Zinovievsk, Odessa, Pervomaesk, and Moldavia. There will also be present several administrators of the Jewish section of the Communist party in those places which contain a large Jewish peasant population.
The Conference will discuss the economic position in the old Jewish colonies and the new settlements, methods of strengthening the agricultural activity in those places, the introduction of co-operative and collective methods in agriculture in the Jewish villages, the work of the Jewish Soviets and the Jewish Social organizations, Soviet and cultural activity in the Jewish villages and work among the various groups in the villages and among women and children.
