Dr. Israel Kalmi, Bulgarian Jewish leader, today appeared before the Peoples Court to testify concerning the anti-Jewish atrocities committed at the order of members of the deposed pro-Nazi cabinet during the German domination of Bulgaria.
Dr. Kalmi described pogroms in which hundreds of persons were killed and said that conditions at the labor camps to which Jews were sent were “the worst kind of slavery.”
