Rabbi Abraham Shusterman of the Congregation Children of Israel, initiator of the supervised playground system here, presided at a meeting called for a discussion of the recreational needs of children of the community.

One of the leading speakers was Colonel M. G. Michael, former president of the Jewish Congregation, and prominent in Georgia’s civic affairs.
