Hundreds of leaders from all walks of Jewish life came yesterday to the Israeli Consulate to bid farewell to Consul General Simcha Pratt and his wife, who are leaving the United States tomorrow on the S.S. Zion. Mr. Pratt is returning to Israel to take over a new post in the Israel Foreign Ministry.
Major Jewish organizations have honored Mr. and Mrs. Pratt at special farewell luncheons and dinners given during the last few days. The organizations included the American Jewish Committee, American Jewish Congress, Zionist Organization of America, Zionist Labor Organization and others.
