Premier Walery Slawek today received a delegation of prominent Polish Jews, including Rabbi Levin and Deputies Minzberg and Wiszlicki.
The delegation called to his attention the fact that the new law governing the elections to the Polish Parliament is unfair to the Jews, giving them virtually no direct representation. They pointed out to him that the six Jewish deputies who will be permitted in the new Sejm, will in reality be elected by non-Jews and will therefore be dependent on the good graces, not of the Jews whom they will nominally represent, but of their non-Jewis helectors.
