The question of restitution of confiscated property to Jews upon their return to Italy was discussed here today by a delegation of the World Jewish Congress with Assistant Secretary of State Edward R. Stettinius, Jr.
The delegation, which included Rabbi Stephen S. Wise, and Dr. Nahum Goldmann, also discussed the attitude of the Turkish Government to the problem of admitting more Jewish refugees from Balkan countries to Turkey. The situation of the Jews in Hungary was also touched upon during the discussion.
