American Jewish leaders paid tribute today to George Bush, former United States Ambassador to the United Nations at a luncheon given in his honor here by the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations. The luncheon was attended by Israel’s UN Ambassador, Yosef Tekoah and 100 guests representing the 30 constituent organizations of the Presidents’ Conference. Ambassador Tekoah referred to Bush as “a good friend of Israel.”
