Dr. Joseph Schroff of New York and Dr. Singer of Liberty, N.Y. were elected officers of the American Medical Association in Vienna. Dr. Schroff was chosen secretary and Dr. Singer treasurer.
The president is Dr. Benjamin Brayant of Cincinnati and Dr. Lang Windsor of Canada, vice-president.
THIRD ANNIVERSARY OF HEBREW UNIVERSITY OPENING OBSERVED TONIGHT
Leopold Pilichowski and James N. Rosenberg will be the speakers at a meeting to be held tonight at the Plaza Hotel under the auspices of the American Advisory Committee of the Hebrew University in Palestine. The patrons are: Mr. and Mrs. Felix M. Warburg, Hon and Mrs. Irving Lehman, Hon. and Mrs. Richard Gottheil, Mr. and Mrs. Roger W. Straus, member of the American Advisory Committee of the University.
The meeting will take place in the exhibition room where Mr. Pilichowski’s canvas of the opening of the Hebrew University will be on view. Mr. Pilichowski will relate the story of the opening of the university on April 1, 1925. Mr. Rosenberg will discuss the university as a cultural center.
