Every man and woman in all the armed forces of the United States will have an opportunity to observe Shavuoth, June 9-10, at special services in camps, communities, and in the fields, wherever they are stationed, it was announced today by Frank L. Weil, president of the Jewish Welfare Board.
Chaplains, civilian rabbis and JWB workers have cooperated in arranging services, and cultural and social programs to mark the holiday, Mr. Weil said.
