Selective Service headquarters announced today that Jewish men will not be inducted or sent for pre-induction physical examination during the Passover week, April 8-15. In a letter to the Synagogue Council of America, which had requested that this be done, a Selective Service spokesman stated that the Army and Navy had both agreed.
