The seventh annual nationwide observance of the Jewish Music Festival will start tomorrow under the auspices of the National Jewish Music Council, which is sponsored by the National Jewish Welfare Board. More than 1,000 Jewish organizations across the country will sponsor concerts, lectures, forums and other programs during the month-long festival.
In connection with Jewish Music Month, Dewey D. Stone, president of the Brandeis Youth Foundation, announced the granting of $10,000 in music scholarships. Applications for scholarships should be sent to Brandeis House in New York.
