The Yiddish Culture Society of New York is giving its annual concert and musicale, at 8:30 tomorrow evening, in the auditorium of the City College, 23rd Street and Lexington Avenue. The features of the evening include: The Cores string-quartet in a Mendelsohn program; the Culture Society Chorus, conducted by Lazar Weiner, in a Jewish and classical repertoire; M. Rudinoff, baritone, cantor of Temple Emanuel, in a number of Jewish and Oriental songs; Nachum Zemach of the Habimah Players, in some recitations from Yiddish literature, and Bella Shumyatcher, pianist. Mendel Elkin will preside.
The proceeds of the evening will be devoted to the promotion of Yiddish culture.
