Joseph Waitz, chief of the settlement department of the Jewish National Fund, today announced that 4,000,000 dunams of land must be purchased at an approximate cost of $320,000,000 under the J.N.F.’s current five-year plan. He added that it is also planned to establish 75,000 farms with a family of about five persons on each unit.
