The Union of Roumanian Jews has not yet decided what attitude to take in the forthcoming Parliamentary elections, but it has declined to participate in the newly-founded Jewish National Party formed by the Jewish Parliamentary Club and the Jewish National Party of the Old Roumanian Kingdom (reported in the J.T.A. Bulletin of the 2nd. inst.). Several Roumanian politicians, too, have declared themselves against such a Jewish National Party, among them M.Argetoianu, a personal friend of the King and one of the principal is illogical, since the Jews have only citizenship demands in Roumania.
