Jewish organizations have approached the Soviet Government with a project to establish an office in the Soviet Union the purpose of reestablishing contact between Russian Jews and their relatives in America and Palestine in order to secure individual relief for them, it is reported today in Davar, Palestine Labor organ.
The report states that the project is awaiting the approval of the central Soviet authorities. It is expected that such an office will reunite many Jewish families separated during the retreat of civilians from Russian territory now now under Nazi occupation.
