Jewish Parties in Warsaw Form Bloc for Forthcoming Municipal Elections

A bloc of the middle-class Jewish parties was formed here for the forthcoming municipal elections which will take place on May 22.

The bloc was formed due to the efforts of the Executive of the Zionist Organization of Poland and consists of the Zionists, the Agudath Israel, the Jewish Merchants’ Association, the Mizrachi, the Artisans’ Association and the small traders.

According to an agreement concluded between the parties, the Zionists are to receive five seats in the Warsaw City Council, the Agudath Israel five, the Merchants’ Association five, the Mizrachi three, the Artisans four, the small traders three and the women’s organization, two.
