THE RUMANIAN JEWISH PARTY ANNOUNCED TODAY ITS INTENTION TO CONTEST THE DECEMBER NATIONAL ELECTIONS AS AN INDEPENDENT BODY.

IN A STATEMENT FOLLOWING A MEETING OF THE PARTY’S CENTRAL COMMITTEE, ATTENDED BY DELEGATES FROM ALL PARTS OF THE COUNTRY, DR. SAMUEL SINGER, VICE-PRESIDENT, DECLARED: “WE WILL PUT UP A STRONG FIGHT IN THE ELECTIONS TO OBTAIN ADEQUATE REPRESENTATION OF THE JEWISH MINORITY IN THE RUMANIAN PARLIAMENT.”
