The Vienna City Council has decided to erect a statue in the city park to the late Jewish philosopher, Josef Popper-Lynkeus.
Popper-Lynkeus, who wrote a number of important philosophic works, notably “The Right to Live and the Duty to Die,” and many technical books dealing with engineering, electricity and flying, on his death left his valuable library to the Jewish National Library in Jerusalem.
