Jewish Physician Named Baron by Queen of England; Other Jews Honored

Prof. Sir Henry Cohen; 56-year-old world famous diagnostician and professor of medicine at Liverpool University, was named a Baron today in the Queen’s Honors List. Among the other Jews awarded honors today are: Rabbi Jacob Danglow of St. Kilda, Victoria, Australia, named a Companion of the Order of St. Michael and St. George; A. Samuel of London, named a Commander of the British Empire, and H. Berman temporary chief executive officer of the British Information Services in Bonn, who was awarded the Order of the British Empire.
