Jewish Planes, Troops Repulse Arab Invasion From; Aid Jewish Settlements

An invasion of Palestine by 600 Arabs from Syria attacked two Jewish settlements two miles below the border was repulsed today by British war planes, paratroopers and cavalry supported by mobile artillery.

ARAB “NATIONAL GUARD” AUTHORIZED TO KEEP ORDER IN ARAB AREAS
