Jewish post-war reconstruction problems have been discussed by Jewish leaders here with Sir William Jowitt, British Minister for Reconstruction, it was revealed today in a report by the Joint Foreign Committee of the Board of Deputies of British Jews.
The report also revealed that the British authorities are displaying sympathetic understanding of the Jewish demand for permission to send food and medicine to the starving Jews in Nazi-held Poland. The report described the situation as “most complicated and most difficult.”
