A group of some 35 Jewish refugees who fled Tripoli in fear of Arab terror arrived here today. They have been granted entry visas by the Italian consul in Tripoli.
Individual refugees continue to arrive here daily–some with visas and some without. The Jews are housed in special assembly centers maintained by Jewish organizations and having no connection with the International Refugee Organization.
Six Arabs were arrested today at Ciampino airfield here on charges of possession of parts of automatic weapons and other arms. Police stated they were enroute to Palestine.
