Existing Jewish relief committees in Europe are being spied upon by Nazi agents, it was revealed yesterday in Der Angriff, newspaper owned by Dr. Paul Josef Goebbels, minister of propaganda and public enlightenment. The newspaper published a front-page review of alleged Jewish activities against Germany in London, Paris, Amsterdam, Brussels, Zurich, Vienna, Prague and Saarbrucken.
Der Angriff claimed its review was based on inside information obtained directly from the various Jewish committees. To prove its assertion, it disclosed its possession of copies of protocols, allegedly relating to sessions of Jewish committees in Brussels and Antwerp where, the paper alleged, Jews were endeavoring to cause a substantial drop in the value of the German mark as one of their measures for fighting Germany.
PROPAGANDA NESTS
Asserting that world Jewry has now encircled Germany with nests of propaganda in all neighboring countries, Der Angriff emphasized that Germany must fight back. In Holland especially, where the entire press was controlled by Jews, the paper said, a campaign to poison the world against Germany was taking place with the full support of every editor.
Der Angriff concluded by severely criticizing the Dutch government for standing by and permitting its press to be so violently anti-German.
