The Jewish section of the “Ogpu,” (formerly Cheka) has been created here for the distinct purpose of combatting the Jewish parties which exist illegally. This Jewish section of the “Ogpu” is headed by the two Communists, Andreyev and Aranowitch.
The first act of the new section was to arrest 90 Zionists. The order for these arrests was carried out by a squad of 30 agents, simultaneously, and within three hours all the Zionists had been arrested and imprisoned.
