Over 100 communists, mostly Jews, have been arrested in connection with fort explosion at Warsaw last Saturday.
The Jewish Sejm Club demands that a commission be appointd to ascertain the true cause of the explosion. They declare that the government’s statements about the blast is merely an effort to dodge responsibility for the affair and to make a scapegoat of the Jews.
The opposition press also contends that the explosion was purely an accident and the government is blamed for faulty supervision of the military stores.
The Jewish Sejm Club declares that the government statements are merely inciting to mob violence against the Jews.
The feeling aroused by the explosion is intense and a movement is spreading among the oppositional parties whose aims are nothing short than the overthrow of the government.
