The first convention of the Jewish Socialist “Bund” organization in liberated Poland has just concluded in Lodz, the Lublin radio reported today. It was attended by forty-four delegates from Warsaw, Lodz, Cracow, Lublin, Barnow, Czenstochowa, Piotrokow and Katowice.
The convention was addressed by Dr. Berszenhor, Dr. Szuldenfrei, Dr. Fitzlund and Dr. Herszenkorn. The latter dealt with Jewish relief activities and with the reconstruction work being conducted among the surviving Jews, The convention elected a new central committee which will maintain headquarters in Lodz.
